All-I am approaching 75 soon and will be selling my home shortly so its time to downsize. I have a dozen high end Marlins that I am going to sell. Two 1897 Cowboys, 6 each 336 Deluxes, 2 each Squirrel rifles, 1 39D and 1 39carbine and maybe a 1st year 39Mountie with 24" barrel.
I have a Marlin 39ADL Squirrel rifle. This was a deluxe version of the 39A and looks like a miniature 336 Deluxe. Same checkering pattern. These were only made 1961-1963. This one was made in 1961. Only 3306 made in 3 years. Gun is original and in excellent condition. On the top right pix is the only bad blemish on the rifle. $2750 shipped and insured to your ffl in a hard case.
